Here is an Online Security Tip on setting your Apple ID Password. Apple, along with other companies are continuously changing their password schemes. Recently, they added a new requirement that you can’t use a password that has been used in the past year. The next time you need to reset your Apple ID, you will find the following requirements:
Apple ID
- This is your email address.
Password Must
- Be at least 8 characters
- Have at least one letter
- Have at least one capital letter
- Have at least one number
- Not contain more than 3 consecutive identical characters
- Not be the same as the account name
- Be at least 8 characters
- Not be a password used in the past year.
